Leica Field Test Part 2

I spent last week field testing a Leica M8 with 18, 35, and 90m lens. The camera has extraordinary lens that are a sharp as physically possible and is constructed in the finest German style. Its small size makes is extremely portable and because it does not look like a modern camera you are able to photograph without attracting attention from non-photographers. The photographs from Mesa Verde, Ouray, and Silverton are examples of its wonderful characteristics. The camera has simple controls and uses your knowledge of photography to a greater extent than other cameras. In the end I decided not to purchase a Leica because of its extreme expense and my older eyes find properly framing the composition difficult in the rangefinder. I want to thank David Farkas of Dale Photo and Video for the opportunity to field test the Leica. This is a great camera and if you desire the finest optics and craftsmanship then this is the camera for you.

I can recommend David and Dale Photo and Video unequivocally. They have a unblemished reputation in the Leica community for good reason. -L
