Mexican Hat, UT
June 28, 2009 60' x 12' Hat Rock balances on a rock outcrop just outside of the town of Mexican Hat. Looks like a sombrero, right?
We regret not snapping a photo of the landscape to the left of the "hat" - a layer of red rock ripples through the mountainside and a perfect silhouette of a woman bathing in a bathtub perches on the crest of one of those red waves.
I did take a photo of Lloyd's onion rings at the the local eatery, Olde Bridge Grille, but can't find it. Anyway, a good place (the only place?) for lunch, but a warning: everything comes super-sized.
