The Warmth of Friends and Curry

April 11, 2009 After a night of gale force winds we woke to snow.

The view from our kitchen window:

We dug out the toques and gloves and set out. Was an hour+ drive from Santa Fe to Albuquerque worth it?

Absolutely!

We were meeting up with Yami and Spencer. Their conversation and restaurant choice put the warmth and spice into our day!

Meet Yami and Spencer:

We met Yami at a Robert McKee "Story" seminar in Vancouver, B.C. That was back in November 2007. We kept in touch by email and finally met face to face again at a favourite local restaurant where we were sure to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. Siam Cafe did not disappoint. We highly recommend the coconut mushroom soup and (vegetarian) yellow curry. YUM!

After some catching up we left with full bellies, happy hearts and plans to meet up again soon.
