The Sights with Sophia

April 8, 2009 A UCLA classmate from L.A. (virtually) introduced me to Sophia, a Santa Fe filmmaker. Two weeks later I met Sophia in person!

We hit it off and here we are... The pic is a bit fuzzy which suits the time as it was devant le café. We were just fueling up at Cafe Paris in Burro Alley.

We didn't touch a bottle, nor a single pastry! Next time. Ah, I should mention that the service was distinctively ... French.

Sated and recharged, we enjoyed a lovely, winding, 16 mile drive up to Ski Santa Fe in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The view: Santa Fe over fir peaks and aspens glimmering gold and silver in the sun.

The caffeine and cool, thin air kicks in ...

We made a special visit to Centaur Ranch to meet Sophia's boys.

And Escocia. I love horses so this was a treat. :D

We wrapped up the day with our muses, discussing films and our projects in progress.
